Changing http to https manually does not enable secure connection

Simply changing http to https won't work unless the server is properly configured for HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate — which may not be applicable for this sample code setup.

fresh installation where CloudFormation stack didn't report any errors. The React UI shows the framework, UI but with an infinity spinning icon for "loading agents" when accessing via http://. Eventually generates a 504 gateway timeout.

console error starts: Error fetching agents: SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON

When trying with https:// it never connects/loads at all.

May have been a timing issue of things not being ready. Http path started working fine the next day.
