docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest is not v2 (actual latest)

Describe the issue

The docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference links for CLI documentation are for V1, which directs users to visit the v2 docs for documentation on "the latest major version of AWS CLI".

The /cli/latest url should point to v2 documentation, instead of v1 documentation. The links below are some selected entries, but all of the documentation is the same.

Thanks for reaching out. There are some challenges with updating the links due to the reference guides for v1 and v2 being hosted on different domains (for example https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/accessanalyzer/ vs https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/accessanalyzer/index.html.) But the CLI team is tracking this issue and we will have more updates in the future.

docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest now points to v2. v1 docs can be accessed at docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/v1/.
