Transparent screen in Vulkan?

What feature are you suggesting?

I only use the 3ds emulator for animal crossing in new leaf, through open GL no matter the settings on steam deck Linux, you get constant bad frame pacing .

Through Vulkan this issue do not appears and everything runs so much better , however now the screen can not be transparent, making it a bit annoying due to my layout.

If you could make this option available in Vulkan as that mode runs better on steam deck this would be great.
Or an option to auto hide the inventory screen and it only appear open moving the courser ect would also be good.

What do you mean by hiding the inventory? If you mean in the game then we can't do that, you would have to find a mod that hides the inventory.

I looked at doing this briefly a few months ago but I don't know enough about Vulkan programming or the emulator code base right now to know if it's possible to modify an existing pipeline to add a transparency effect (ideal) or if it's necessary to destroy and create a whole new pipeline to do so (not ideal as it's an expensive operation and therefore would probably introduce a performance hit). Conceptually, it's possible to do this, though; I just don't have the time to do the code tracing needed to really understand how this emulator works in order to figure out where to put the changes (and to learn Vulkan, lol).
