Update available message showing when on edge version

Bug Description

Getting message A new version is available! for version 1.7.0 when on edge version (v1.7.0-86-gc1170f312).

Expected Behavior

I would expect no update message since I am on latest edge version.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install edge version
2. Eventually get message about new version being lower than current version

• CLI Client Version: v1.7.0-86-gc1170f312
