Switch to the previous tag upon emptying the current tag?

There may be a patch for this that I don't know of, but essentially what I want to achieve is switching to the previous tag without the extra key presses as the current tag's last window is closed and the tag becomes empty.

For example I'm on tag 2 which I use for Firefox, I switch to tag 3 to quickly check my telegram and close it, as I close the telegram window tag 3 will now be empty; I want dwm to automatically switch back to the previous tag which is tag 2.

I have bound alt+tab to switch to the previous tag but it would be nice to spare an extra key combo in such cases.
