I'm using the Adaptive Cover integration and love how it automates my blinds based on sun position. However, the manual override reset is currently limited to a fixed duration (e.g., 15 minutes), which resets back to automatic control after that interval.
I'd like to request a feature to make the reset more flexible, such as:
Resetting at specific times of day (e.g., 8 AM/PM or sunrise/sunset).
Triggered by other sensors/entities (e.g., presence detection with 'for:interval', temperature thresholds, etc...).
This would allow better integration with daily routines or environmental conditions, reducing the need for workarounds like custom HA automations with very long durations.
Has anyone else wanted this? Thoughts from the devs?
