I would like to propose incorporating current values from photovoltaic systems into the Adaptive Cover integration. The goal is to make the control of blinds/shades even more energy-efficient and smarter by, for example, adjusting the covering based on high solar power generation. I used such a "workaround" with hysteresis and average power calculations in the past and it worked pretty good.
Use current PV output as a control parameter for climate mode or shading intensity
Combine sun position, indoor temperature, and PV power for the optimal balance between comfort and energy efficiency

Hello everyone,
I would like to propose incorporating current values from photovoltaic systems into the Adaptive Cover integration. The goal is to make the control of blinds/shades even more energy-efficient and smarter by, for example, adjusting the covering based on high solar power generation. I used such a "workaround" with hysteresis and average power calculations in the past and it worked pretty good.
Best regards
Arend
