See https://eupl.eu/ TL;DR: Objectively better alternative to the GPL without the common limitations of GPL and ensuring that the FSF's malpractice in GPL (such as lack of protection for code representing a physical objects and OSHW in general) does not affect this project with significantly more capable enforcement authority including the assurance that the terms as written are complying with all of relevant EU laws which is guaranteed to persist and with verified translation in all EU member state languages.
