Batocera build version

40 2024/08/01 01:28

Your architecture

Macbook 2008 Intel Core 2 Duo Unibody (64 bit)

Your Graphic Processor Unit(s) (GPU)

Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M

Issue description

The trackpad touch or trackpad click does not register any "mouse click". For example, I'm unable to click on any files or folders in file menu (F1) using the trackpad. I am able to move the mouse around using the trackpad. Also, plugging in a USB mouse works fine.

Detailed reproduction steps

  1. Open File Menu (F1)
  2. Use trackpad to move mouse on a folder
  3. Click or touch the trackpad
  4. The folder is not selected. Expected: the folder is selected

Details of any attempts to fix this yourself

  1. I tried modifying options in various files at this location: /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d but everytime I save the file and restart Batocera, the files are overwritten back to a default.
  2. I also tried saving a new config file in that location, but after restart, the file is no longer there.

Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.

use batocera-save-overlay to save your .conf file.
