find /dev -iname '*spi*' gives nothing
OS: Arch Linux ARM w/ linux-am33x 5.11.2
Device: BBGW
no cape installed
version.sh not found in bb.org-overlays.git
In the schematics I found SCHA5B0200.CD --> MMC0_CD --> AM3358BZCZ100.SPI0_CS1/MMC0_POW/MMC0_SDCD/... where SCHA5B0200 seems to be something related to the SD card reader
Is it possible to resolve the conflict by neutralizing the SD card reader?
The following is how I loaded the dtbo:
PC:
git clone https://github.com/beagleboard/bb.org-overlays
cd bb.org-overlays && {
git clean -dfx
make -j4 # V=1
scp src/arm/BB-SPIDEV0-00A0.dtbo bbgw:/boot/BB-SPIDEV0-00A0.dtbo
}minicom (through PL2303):
# Press space to abort autoboot
# kernel_addr_r is 0x82000000
# fdt_addr_r is 0x88000000
# ramdisk_addr_r is 0x88080000
load mmc 1:1 ${kernel_addr_r} /boot/zImage
# 5961976 bytes read
load mmc 1:1 ${fdt_addr_r} /boot/dtbs/am335x-bonegreen-wireless.dtb
# 88862 bytes read
fdt addr $fdt_addr_r
setenv overlayaddr 0x88070000
load mmc 1:1 ${overlayaddr} /boot/BB-SPIDEV0-00A0.dtbo
# 1515 bytes read
fdt resize 102400
fdt apply ${overlayaddr}
load mmc 1:1 ${ramdisk_addr_r} /boot/initramfs-linux.img
# 6876350 bytes read
setenv ramdisk_size ${filesize}
part uuid mmc 1:1 uuid
setenv bootargs "console=tty0 console=${console} root=PARTUUID=${uuid} rw rootwait"
bootz ${kernel_addr_r} ${ramdisk_addr_r}:${ramdisk_size} ${fdt_addr_r}
May I disable the SD card reader with some u-boot magic, or I have to either downgrade kernel or switch to some other distro?
PS: My ultimate goal is to flash X200 BIOS (winbond W25Q32BVSSIG) with BBGW instead of frying it with 5V CH341A
Thanks.
