License Stub?

Has anyone thought about a license for this project? Probably the same as Scala?

I just wondered, as I saw this

https://github.com/grainlang/grainlang/blob/master/Gral/GralEdit/src/scala/swing/tree/Tree.scala

which is

https://github.com/kenbot/ScalaSwingTreeWrapper/blob/master/src/main/scala/scala/swing/tree/Tree.scala

It might be good to be able to find attribution of the sources at least.

Thanks for the heads-up Hans, it's a fair point. I hadn't thought about
that. I'd like people to feel unconstrained in their use of the Tree
Wrapper/scala-swing-contrib, but it would be nice to at least be credited.
I'll have a think about it. What do you think Ben?

I emailed the authors of the various bits of this library at the start, informally asking them for consent to open source packaging, but a specific license was not discussed. Im OK with putting it under the same license as Scala, and reacting later in the unlikely event there's concerns from contributors. Just a single license.txt file in the root dir?

Yes, I would say so. Scala uses BSD 3-clause which provides maximum freedom for people using the library, requiring only to reproduce the license header. Adding a one or two liner in the source files should help remembering where that source came from.
