I know it isn't really that beta, but the skin server doesn't work for it anymore so I thought it could use your skin proxy.

1.6-1.17 support is going to be added in the 1.10 update.

Ok the rest of that makes no sense, this is Beta Craft, not play the newest 2021 versions of Minecraft

Well, that's what moresteck said in the Omniarchive discord unless he changes his mind. Also, I can see why he would do it, there are versions past 1.7.7 that aren't in the official launcher like 19w13b-1 and the combat test snapshots or maybe he wants to be the first person to make a launcher that has every single version of minecraft Java edition in it.

Quick note: BetaCraft is just the name of the launcher, it has no meaning to what the launcher contains in it. If it did, there wouldn't be versions before or after the beta versions in the launcher.

Well it made sense anyways, there were versions from classic to 1.5, the name BetaCraft made complete sense in that case. It's all the old legacy versions, even the old versions that can't be found in the official launcher.

Besides that, it officially says so in the note in the application. It only supports legacy versions.

Also if all new versions are being added to something called BetaCraft, there should be an option to only have old versions, or to not show specific versions in the launcher.

Funny coincidence, moresteck said versions above 1.8.9 will be hidden by default, so your wish is granted.

Oh well... Yes, I do plan to make the launcher support newer versions, but I'll just make a flip-flop, so that the latest versions require you to check a box, in contrast to how it is in other launchers. That's because BetaCraft will not officially support anything past 1.8.9. There are going to be some missing pre-reuploads though.
BTW, that issue is not really an issue :P

Yeah, it's not an issue. I was asking if you guys could Support 1.6 on BetaCraft... it was more of a suggestion.
