LiveCharts2 with dotnet Maui in iOS

Hello

Try as i might, i can't get any LiveCharts2 sample to work with dotnet Maui running against IOS (I develop on a mac and am running in a simulator. I've tried the simplest example (eg CartesianChart, PieChart) and constrained size etc etc. Nothing shows. The ONLY thing i can get to render is a box if i set the background color, e.g.:

 Content = new PieChart()
            {
                HeightRequest = 200,
                WidthRequest = 200,
                Margin = new Thickness(4, 4, 4, 4),
                BackgroundColor = Colors.Blue
            }.Bind(PieChart.SeriesProperty,
                getter: static (ChartViewModel vm) => vm.Series);

will render a blue box, but no chart. I've tried a few versions of LiveCharts including latest, and i'm runnning under dotnet 9.

Are there any other troubleshooting steps i can perform?
