PHP Fatal error: Uncaught PharException: phar "C:\Users\username.config\herd\bin\laravel.phar" has a broken signature in C:\Users\username.config\herd\bin\laravel.phar:10

I had the same problem, and no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling Herd would fix it.

However, using the following (terrible) hack, I was able to restore my installation to a working state by doing the following:

1. Stop Herd and any associated services.
2. Using 7zip or another archive manager, extract the contents of Herd-1.20.x-setup.exe to a temporary directory.
3. Navigate to $PLUGINSDIR within the temporary directory.
4. Extract the contents of app-64.7z to another temporary directory.
5. Navigate to resources\app.asar.unpacked\resources within this new temporary directory.
6. Copy the bin folder to your C:\Users\username\.config\herd\ directory, overwriting any existing files.
7. Restart Herd.

Hopefully everything should work at this point. Good luck!

I had the same issue today. I use windows 10. This just happened out of the blue. I'm really not sure what caused this.

The same problem, it was working but after a clean installation of Win11, it became broken

Replace file "C:\Users\username.config\herd\bin\laravel.phar" with "C:\Program Files\Herd\resources\app.asar.unpacked\resources\bin\laravel.phar"
