If I open Contacts App in Android (Samsung Galaxy S23), I see a weird "#2" after the account name (see attached image). Anyone as an idea? Please note that #2 is referencing to issue number 2, but this is not related. It's the forum site that adds the link automatically. |

Account names in android need to be unique. Adding the number at the end (it's the internally used ID of an addressbook collection) makes sure this is the case. Here is a quote from the DAVx⁵ manual on accounts and collections :
The screenshot in the manual is from a time when we still were using two english alphabet characters for uniqueness "sw". We should update that at some point @devvv4ever ? |
