There's a FAQ entry for that: https://www.davx5.com/faq/calendars/google-calendar-can-i-use-davx5-with-google-calendar We could however add screenshots there |

I have a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra) and I was unable to get my Nextcloud calendars to work in the Google calendar app. Everything worked just fine with my old Oneplus phone, and on my new phone DAVx5 did find the correct calendars from Nextcloud and their automatic sync worked as it should.
The problem was that the Google calendar app was not allowing me to actually use the DAVx5 account. It did see the account in the main view, but the option to select it was grayed out. When pressed I would get a pop-up saying "Manage in Settings: Make sure that only trusted accounts can display entries on your calendar. In Settings, you can manage all non-Google accounts.". Trouble is that in the settings it did not see/list the DAVx5 account at all, it only saw my Samsung account and the Samsung birthdays and calendar.
The problem was caused by my Samsung account name having been registered with the same email that I use in the DAVx5 account, and therefore due to some bug in Google calendar I was unable to add the DAVx5 account. Interestingly changing the DAVx5 account name to something else did not help, but changing my Samsung account to use another email address did fix the problem.
This is not really an issue with DAVx5, but I'm still posting this as a FYI and something to keep in mind if you ever run in to the same problem.
