I get an error while setting up a new account with an egroupware server. I enter the URL and my credentials. That seems to work. But on the next page with the heading "Create account" no matter what e-mail address it try I get the error "Account could not be created" Environment HTC 10, Android 8. Davx dated 22 Mar 22 version 4.2 Any suggestions? Thanks Ken |

Did you reboot the device? Maybe account creation is somehow blocked by the operating system. |

Hi Ricki, Yes I did reboot the device and also cleared the apps data and reinstalled the App. Any ideas and permissions required to allow the OS to create an account? |

Basically HTC 10 should work fine - I've just looked it up in our Google Play statistics, and it was and still is in use with DAVx5 as you can see the global distribution of the device below. That said, probably a factory reset of the device can possibly solve this problem (although it is of course time-intense to setup everything else again...). Maybe that helps. |
