We recognise the website is a bit generic-looking, so we have engaged a professional web designer to give it a bit of a makeover. Before she gets started she would like an overview of how the website works today.

It's only three pages, and it only uses vanilla HTML and Javascript, but at the back end there's some CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway and other AWS things involved.

Could someone please create an overview of how this bit of the application works? You don't have to be an expert in Web development to understand it, we've tried to name everything to be as self-explanatory as possible.
