Thanks for sharing this! I was also looking for something like that and I came across the dbus that can query the lock state of linux, though this depends on the distribution. For Ubuntu I found this and I was wondering if you've tried it because it seems simpler: dbus-send --session --print-reply --dest=org.kde.KScreenLocker /ScreenLocker org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver.GetActiveFor making an individual entity unavailable is not possible. All of the entities that are created are bound to the lwt status. |

I was looking for any documentation on how to get a locked/unlocked sensor to no avail.
I am running ubuntu 24.04, with wayland.
In case anyone else is looking for this, here is the bash sensor I added, with this I have my workstation integration with HA finalized!
