What Linux OS are you guys running with your Nvidia GPU and Frigate? Ive got a feeling it is Debian Bookwork that is acting up here...... |

Hi Nick. Thanks for your answer. Indeed very odd. Can I get even more logs out of Frigate? ... I dont understand what I should put as <sorted_rules> for the ffmpeg logs ffmpeg <sorted_roles> Ive added this log parameters to my config: Here is the output |

Well ... I tried to transcode a downloaded video file from both outside and inside the container. Both reports the same issue. Yea, same issue. |

Thanks yea... This isnt Frigate related (at all). For the record/history (if someone else has the same issue). H265 works great and ALL other codecs. I have made a hybrid Frigate setup now where I use TensorRT as detector and all my H265/HEVC cameras are running via the RTX 3050 and the H264 cameras run via the built in Intel GPU via I will, at some point reinstall the machine using another OS than Debian to test if that will solve it. Leaning towards POP OS (Ubuntu fork with Nvidia drivers+tweaks all built in). https://pop.system76.com/. |

Describe the problem you are having
Got Frigate all up and running well here at home, been a user for years.
Decided to get myself a Nvidia RTX 3050 to play with some AI. All works great. Ollama, comfyUI etc all works great in dockers.
Decided to give Frigate
tensorrta test. My H265 cameras came up but my H264 cameras all fails.Spent the whole day. Cannot solve it. My videocard IS comatable
I am running Debian 12 (latest)
