Can we have record mode: timelipse?

What is your use case? Timelapse as a record mode specifically would preclude object detection.

@hawkeye217 В мене є камера на городі. I create periodic snapshot and create timelapse video with ffmpeg. It is good to have records with birds as event example and timelapse video. But I agree - it is not regullar use case for NVR.
