I could not figure out why I was getting a snapshot of a cloud and then a notification for a dog... this explains alot.. Guess this will get submitted as a false positive.

the problem is that its a PTZ.. so I am struggling to figure out what to mask and not mask, since the mask and zones are static.

maybe a future enhancement for the PTZ function would be zones/masks that are based on the preset of the camera. This way different zone configurations could be applied per preset.
