IOPs/CPU consumption peak

Hello everyone,

I discovered the amazing Frigate a few months ago but I feel like I have some performance issues since I upgraded to v15.1

As you can see from screenshots below, the CPU load is increasing very frequently ( each 15min) and it seems that the cause is on the frigate side.

Do you have any idea why the frigate activity is so high every 15 minutes or can I optimise my conf ?

Frigate itself doesn't run anything every 15 minutes. I noticed you are running Grafana from your top output. Could the CPU usage be because of that?

I see some activity every 1 hour:

If you run frigate in docker you can add docker monitoring to separate apps from each other

Frigate creates your camera previews on the hour, every hour. On typical systems, this only takes a few minutes at most.

I changed the contour_area and the threshold for two cameras and voila the result 👍

I only did that action.
