Describe the problem you are having

I'm trying to understand why the 4th car in the object list is being included. The area falls within the defined range, but the ratio is outside the specified bounds. Based on that, I would expect it not to be added to the object list.

Here are the current settings:

min_ratio: 1

To determine these values, I used the screenshot below and manually drew bounding boxes in Photoshop to measure the width and height in pixels.

You only applied your ratios to the zone, not the whole camera

Hi @NickM-27 , that kinda make sense, I was expecting that ratios to a zone will override the cam ratios. What is the best here, setting ratios on all levels (global, cam, zone)?

One followup, since this all was triggered by the sensor in HA.

The sensor (sensor.parking_1_car_count) in HA was counting 5 cars at the moment of the image. Yes the sensor is correct that 5 cars are in the Parking 1 zone, but one car should not be counted based on the ratio.

It keeps the object from being considered in the zone, which applies to the camera if that zone is configured as required.
