Motion detection with GPU instead of CPU

Hello everybody,

Is there a way to use the GPU for motion detection instead of the CPU? I'm not into the details regarding GPU programming, that is why I'm asking and I'm not sure this is even possible, but it is worth asking.

It's not possible with Frigate, and we've explored the idea but Frigate's motion detection is designed to be very efficient so it likely wouldn't be more efficient running on GPU given the extra data transfer

I have the same question with frigate . Motion detection consumes a large amount of CPU resources, Is there a plan to switch it to GPU operation? #18917
