Can't get the YOLOv9 export script to run

Errors:

1. unknown flag: --output. I bypassed it by removing the flag, but then I got
2. error: File not found: requirements.txt.

Docker version: 28.3.3, build 980b856816

I'm running the block of code from Ubuntu and it gives me the same File not found: 'requirements.txt' error. However, when I replace the "ADD https...yolov9.git ." command with a "RUN git clone https...yolov9.git ." as this guy suggests, it moves on past the error. It runs all the way to completion but there is no file in the current directory!

For some reason my docker instance is copying the file into a new image! What the heck am I supposed to do with that??

I ran it twice in a row trying a couple of things and it seems to create a new image with just the *.onnx file inside. I have no idea how to get it out of there.

Seems like you may have some oddities in your docker installation or didn't copy the full script

the --output makes it drop the file wherever it was run. We haven't had any other reports of this behavior

I solved it. It was because I was running a really old docker version, it was like 20.15.10 or something. I just followed the details on this docker webpage and now I'm running 28.4.0 and the script works as-is and the output file drops into the current directory! PROFIT!!! 🎉
