goose.zip/app (vs Goose.zip/app) and loss of Intel release ?

So the base Mac app binary was lost on the release assets for awhile and just came back, BUT now its 'goose.zip' instead of 'Goose.zip' and even the contained app is 'goose.app' instead of 'Goose.app' ?

Additionally, it looks like the Mac Intel binary has been dropped? Was there an official notice of this? btw: I don't use it I'm on M4 but this whole thing just feels odd.

It doesn't feel like you're moving with intention in this regard - I would appreciate some clarity.

goose.zip is now available on 1.10.2

Apologies for the inconsistent artifacts @davidpfarrell. We renamed things from Goose to goose in hundreds of places and it unearthed some mis-matching config that wasn't caught until after release.

1.10.2 and beyond should be back to normal.

Thanks for confirming - so the Plan is to use 'goose.zip'/'goose.app' going forward? I would argue that having the app name (that lives in /Applications) be all lowercase is an anti-pattern. Looking now in my apps folder I do see that there is one (out of about 100 apps) doing the same: 'zoom.us.app' - I will say that I'd prefer 'Goose.app' and leave it at that ... Thanks again!

Yes

We made a branding/product decision that "goose" the product name will begin lowercase everywhere, so app and artifact names also reflect this now.

Hi - So Looks like the v1.10.3 release contains:

• Goose.zip
• Goose_intel_mac.zip

Downloading Gooze.zip and extracting, I get Goose.app

Installing the app into Applications and opening about shows: Version 1.10.3 (1.10.3)
