I'm not sure if this is something that's been discussed or even noticed (I only just noticed myself and I've got alt text on everything I've posted), but there isn't a way to add any alt text to your profile picture. I'm not sure if this is something that's better to be added on-protocol for any services that do use the same pfp, but if not I think adding it in the client would be a nice addition to the platform, if a small one.
