BDD style gherkin tests do not support tabular input

It is great that ut supports gherkin-style tests but, from what i have seen, it is not able to parse the tabular input/multiline strings.  Can someone  please either give an example of how this should be done (included examples are very minimal) or indicate if there is intention of supporting it in the future?  Thank you!
