Integration with Firenvim

Hello, really like this extension!
I want to change an editor that starts on I key: by default it selects input on a page (like i keymap) and opens Ace-editor - I want to change it to firenvim.

I have seen example in this issue #1064
Moreover, there's a pull request that seems to make this integration work #1064
But how? I haven't found any information in both repositories even after looking through issues. Judging by source code it listens to some command. But I'm not sure how to implement it. I wish there was something like firenvim.start() js method that I could map to a key and call from Surfingkeys' config.

According to author of firenvim glacambre/firenvim#1678, firenvim used to be in Surfingkeys but it's no longer the case after 1.0 it seems. Is it possible to integrate these two fantastic plugins from a user perspective now?

Thanks for your work! Hope someone can give hints on how to achieve desired workflow. I think with it I would achieve huge amount of power when using my own neovim config inside browser!

You can use nvim directly through Surfingkeys, please follow this guide to set up.
