Can Heater and Heat Pump (Solar) be turned on and off? #21
Comments
I don't think there is a way to do this via Hubitat. Do you know if that capability exists in DashPanel and/or the API? I suspect I can add it I just don't have that configuration to know what this might look like. |
put /state/body/heatMode/state Where state can be 0, for off. |
Thanks, Brad.
I tried doing the update via package manager and got:
An error occurred while installing the package: Failed to upgrade app https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bsileo/hubitat_poolcontroller/master/smartapps/bsileo/pool-controller.src/pool-controller.groovy.
I'll try finding the changed code and doing copy/paste.

There was a bug making this command not show up. If you upgrade you should see it now. "Set Heater Mode" is the same as that option you showed, and then you also have "Heater on" and "Heater Off" to control its state.

Strange - I have run the HPM update on 2 hubs with this release and both worked ok. Anything else in the Hubitat logs? |

Brad,
I don't see a way to do that.
I think I can hack my local copy to have a way to turn the heater and heat pump on and off, but I wanted to check to make sure I'm not missing it.
Thanks1
