How are slideshow translations handled?

Is the intention for flavours to manage translations for the slideshow themselves moving forward?

How are they handled currently in ubuntu-desktop-installer? In launchpad?

The slide text are in json format. In transifex they expect a structured json format for translating stuff. The current json format in the installer isnt like that.
