QR barcode‑scanning and arm64 IOS Simulation

Hi All,

We are using the barcode scanner, but when we run the app in Xcode it forces the simulator to run under Rosetta rather than native arm64. Is this the expected behaviour of this plugin?

I would appreciate any advice or guidance.

What does this do? Does this just disable the plugin for simulation?
With this, can i then avoid running Rosetta for remaining App

It does not disable the plugin; it forces the Simulator to use the Intel version of the plugin instead of the Apple Silicon version. Please check out the official Apple developer docs for more information.

Ok, well at moment Xcode is automatically enabling Rosetta and running as x86 but I want to run it as arm64.

So this additional code, what would it do different to what it currently happening?
