Search by aircraft type not by airline

An interesting topic arose this a.m. with free flights. Pilot wanted to fly a Citation 550 for example which is in our Aussie Virtual subfleet. Pilot is unaware of this until you select OFP and it brings up a list of aircraft available within chosen airliner on the first page. If they chose Air New Zealand for example then that aircraft would not be in the dropdown list to choose making said pilot frustrated due to time consuming searches for correct aircraft type they wanted to free fly with.

Is there a way to free flight via aircraft type not by airline now we have that code available and it then show available airliners with that aircraft type?

This will make it easier for pilot to choose the aircraft not the airline and save having to search each airliner for the correct aircraft.

This would take a bit of work to implement, but could be done. The issue at the moment is that free flight is just a simplified way for people to add flights to the flights table so they can use them for any purpose. There could be some hours put to something like this, for sure.
