I use opensnitch to monitor outgoing connections per program. I was very surprised to find cargo-binstall connecting to cargo-quickinstall-stats-server.fly.dev. Your README claims it connects to warehouse-clerk-tmp.vercel.app. The data is also not available as you claim it is.

(Personally I believe this should be opt-in rather than opt-out as well, or the user should be interactively prompted the fist time around.)
