The idea is fair, but I'm not sure if the human-brain emoji really depicts artificial intelligence that well. What about

• 🧞 (because LLM chatbots are kinda like genies),
• 👻 (because AI is kinda ghost-like),
• 💭 (because thoughts aren't necessarily human),
• ℹ️ for “intelligence”,
• 🕸️ for “(neural) net” or
• 🤖 (although I think this emoji might be better suited for proposal Use 🤖 for "Add automation" #1831)?

You make a great point. I might recommend ⚙️ for automation, which frees up 🤖 for AI.

I also recommend using 🔮 as mentioned in #1918.

As @realpixelcode mentions "🧞 LLM chatbots are kinda like genies". I think this is a good description, since working with AI can be quite unpredictable and seems analogous to looking into a crystal ball.

I really like 🧠 for this!
🤖 is already on automation, so 🧠 communicates a "higher intelligence" than a mere automation, and is a very clear symbol for "thinking". 🧠AI Rules and systems could really use a distinction from 🤖 automation, or ⚙️ mechanics/systems/config, or just plain 📝 "documentation", which I think we agree AI rule writing/refinement is a pretty different beast from just writing docs.
🔮 to me reads as something pertaining to search (or "scrying").
🧞 is amusing! but I feel the semiotics of the symbol are significantly more vague than the 🧠brain.
💭 is a pretty good runner-up, though I feel like it would better imply some 'thought-related' thing, like maybe a scratch design doc, or TODOs, or such. The 🧠 symbol by contrast really focuses on the mind itself, the thing we are building & refining!
