From what I remember there was always a discussion on why our gripper axes are so large. Now that we are planning to setup a second set of robotinos, we could consider using smaller axes (possibly cheaper axes).
Might be even a cool BA thesis to design them. (I don't know, I'm not a mechanical engineer.)

Calculating the sizes of the axes we actually need and choosing appropriate motors and power supplies, kind of a long shot to maybe get some new members as well.
We can just get smaller axes, maybe talk to the Igus guys for recommendations.
