Not sure it matters, since this looks like a dead and abandoned project (no activity in over 3 years), but for what it's worth ...
The class PersistentPropertyBinder is not found in the Java 8 release jar (not in Maven repository, nor in your own Ocicat).
It's here in the code for this project. But not in the releases.
