uuid must equal folder name

It seems that for recent gnome 3 extensions, the UUID in metadata.json must be identical to the folder name. The second comment on this thread makes this claim.

I have found it to be true by trial and error on my ubuntu 12.10, gnome 3.6.1

For convenience, I want to 'cd ./.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/; git clone tracker-search' and the extension will work. My request is that you make the uuid and project folder name identical.
