Correct character recognized as invalid?

Describe the bug
While porting bubble tea and bubbles to Java I noticed slight discrepancy in one of tests, here exactly:

{"hello\xc2", "hello"}, // invalid utf8

The mentioned \xc2 is just a  which appears for instance in French language. Maybe it should be treated like an allowed character instead?

It should not fail with  character.

Thank you, @activey, for opening this issue.

The mentioned test uses UTF-8 encoding and the "Â" encoded in UTF-8 is \u00c2 or in hex \xc3\x82. For the test to be correct, it should be "hello\u00c2" instead.

You can try this in your terminal using printf "\u00c2" and printf "\xc3\x82" 🙂

Mhm, ok, I think this is just the matter how Java handles UTF8 ;) It's just ... different.
