Unless I'm mistaken it appears that Prompt is mandatory when generating a response. The prompt is injected into the context as a User message.
There are times, however, when we'd like to start an agent conversation without a user Prompt. For instance after a tool call.
This is currently not possible and a dummy prompt like "Continue this conversation" is required as a work-around.
Happy to hear if there are other reasons for the validation or a better solution.
