interfering loupe / select functionality on iOS

Hi guys,

when I try to use your doubletap-feature-plugin on my iPhone, I get weird side effects, like the loupe showing and text being selected.
I added a recording using your demo website.
Do you know a way to switch off those iOS-behaviors, or might this even be handled inside your plugin..?

I recently ran into this issue too and I still haven't found a complete fix, but have found that you can disable the text selection behavior with a small piece of JavaScript which intercepts the all the touch events on your site:

function ignore(e) {
    e.preventDefault();
}

document.body.addEventListener("touchstart", ignore, { passive: false });
document.body.addEventListener("touchcancel", ignore, { passive: false });
document.body.addEventListener("touchend", ignore, { passive: false });

This means text cannot be selected and the magnifier is therefore not nearly as disruptive, though it does still appear when you double tap and hold. I still have not found a way to disable the magnifier in iOS 18 settings, or any functional code that does it.
