Create Doc Explaining Methods for Calculating Electricity Generation at Net Zero #25
Comments
@swatland610 - are you still taking point on this issue? |
Yep! I'll share something out in the next week or so! |
@swatland610 - wanted to ping you on this, I'm not sure what this even exactly was 😅 If you can clarify the intent of this ticket, maybe someone else can tackle it |
Hi @vkoves ! great question 😅 this was essentially just documenting how we calculated our electricity projection data - especially since we anticipated getting some questions around it. I do have some notes mostly cleaned up for it, but I also question if it's still needed. If you'd still like something, then I'll actually wrap up cleaning those up. Thanks! |
@swatland610 - I think being able to explain our numbers is always good, so I think it would be really good to have that - even I don't know how our predictions work, which makes it really hard to talk about convincingly in a presentation |
@swatland610 - wanted to ping you on this - could you pass of whatever notes you may have so that someone else can clean it up or finalize it? |
Tada! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RVkM2irM5OR1Z_sacR3SJFpD6A9gqnmaVJFthkQC6C4/edit Check out the methodology section at the bottom of this document! |
Building off of this google doc, let's build out a step by step document on how we might calculate the required electricity generation for all 50 states.
This process will also help us discover what data we have and what data we do not.
