Help with non working adaptation - fork?

Hi,
I'm really struggling with the K5000 adaptation bank management part and would appreciate your help.
But I don't want you to fix it but instead learn where I am wrong. I usually do that by commenting on/in source code and comparison in pycharm.
Would that be OK for you? And do you want the pull request to main or to a fork?

Just make a pull request from here, you're collaborator and should have permissions. You can do it from a fork if you don't necessarily for others to find and read it, but I think nobody really cares - I have 7 PRs open right now, some are really old and things I never finished.
