Installing R and RStudio

Both R and RStudio are open source programs and can be easily downloaded for free. R is a statisti cal programming language and RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE). It basically makes using R easier.

Both are available for Windows, Mac, and Unix.

First, download R.

Note: these instructions are intended for people based in Korea, but they will work from anywhere.

• Click on the link for your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
