Mapping non-namespaced xml fields

I'd like to map further fields from different endpoints, which do not apply yet to a defined standard like dcat, so they don't apply to any xml namespace.

Do you think it would be best to develop an own dcat extension profile myself and map these fields?
Is there another better practice i am not aware of yet?
