The interface for selecting the action for a piece will appear to a player who presses on their opponent's pieces IF the player has previously pressed on one of their own pieces. That is, if I've pressed on my 2 (as in the first image),
I can press on my opponent's 1 (as in the second image),
and I am given the display for actions to be assigned to my opponent's 1. If I select a diagonal move, I am given options for moving that would be appropriate for a piece that I controlled (as in the third image),
that is, the move options are in a backward direction for the 1. When I actually try to assign the move action, the screen resets back to how it was before I originally pressed on my piece.
