• is a modern open source high-performance Remote Procedure Call (RPC) framework that can run in any environment.

Why this term needs to be added? (briefly)

• Many CNCF projects use gRPC to connect a large number of microservices. It generates cross-platform client and server bindings for many languages and is designed for low latency and high throughput communication.
