MeshLab 2025.07 is out!

This release brings:

• native build for arm M1 on MacOS
• native build for aarch64 on Linux
• a new plugin for loading and saving 3mf files (thanks @lvk88)
• several bugfixes.

The release will be available soon also on the Microsoft Store and on FlatHub.

The Windows binaries (exe / zip) release is reported as possibly containing malware/ransomware. The 2023 version shows up as clean. Did something change with the build/packaging? Encryption is used?

portable versions are not signed due to too demanding constraints from microsoft (each binary must be signed manually with the certificate we have). There is not much I can do about that.
The installers are signed, and it is just a matter of microsoft that acknowledges the existence of the certificate, which was released a week ago. I guess it will be recognized when there will be a sufficient number of users that install the software.
