Add datetime field

I have a need for this. What widget should be used? I think there are quite a few to pick from from vanilla (current) plone to various improved widgets, plus the up-and-coming improved widget for plone 5, no?

The simple widget you can implement is the one from plone.app.jquerytools (although this package will disappear from Plone 5 for what I know). See the work done here: collective/Products.DataGridField#15

You can provide a new column type for tablepage (in that case PR will be really appreciated), or developing it in a separate package. As you wish.

Splendid :D I did some research into plone.app.jquerytools and the jQuery Tools itself and it appears it is not maintained very actively - for example it is lacking in its support for newer versions of jQuery :( Perhaps indeed it's better to use something else then. I wonder if http://fullcalendar.io would be suitable? It's used in Solgema Fullcalendar as well.

So probably will be better to use Plone default calendar JS, I need to be very careful with external dependencies and I still need Plone 3 compatibility.
